Sample ID
A Sample ID is a unique identifier assigned to a physical protein sample. It serves as the primary reference for all derived samples and is essential for linking assay values to the same biological sample, which is crucial for training our machine learning models.
Key properties of a Sample ID include:
Uniqueness across physical samples: The Sample ID is unique for each distinct physical sample, even if it represents the same base sequence.
Consistency across technical replicates: The same Sample ID is used for all technical replicates of a single physical sample.
Differentiation among biological replicates: Biological replicates of the same sequence are assigned distinct Sample IDs.
Including a Sample ID in your data file is required.
