Assays

Overview

Once you have created your project, add the assays you are measuring.

Adding assays

The assays you measure or plan to measure for this project are based on the experimental objectives you aim to optimize or track on the Cradle platform. You can define as many assays as needed by following these steps:

  • Set an Assay name, a name that your team uses for a specific assay.

  • Set an Assay unit that you use to measure the specified assay.

As an optional step, you can include:

  • Task: the protein characteristic you are measuring, such as activity, stability, or expression.

    • Property: the specific metric used to measure the Task. For example, for activity, this could be the Michaelis constant (Km) or the catalytic rate constant (kcat).

Note: You can create a custom option if your Task, Property, or Assay unit is not listed in the dropdown menu.

Next steps

Once you have configured your assays, you can start with Importing data.
