Workspace and projects
Overview
On this page, you can learn how to activate your account, set up a workspace, and create a project on the Cradle platform.
Setting up your account
You should have received an invitation to Cradle. If this isn't the case, please reach out to your Customer Success manager.
Once the invitation is received, you can log in using Single Sign-On (SSO) with your organization's email address.
Workspaces
A workspace is the home for all protein design projects within your organization. Administrators can invite members and manage their access permissions.
Your workspace will only be accessible by the members you invite
Workspace settings
Only administrators can modify workspace settings. To make changes, go to Workspace by selecting the workspace name in the upper left corner and choosing Settings. Administrators can do the following:
Change the workspace name and url.
Set a company logo.
Add or remove members.
Manage member access permissions.
Creating a new project
Create a new project in your workspace by clicking on the + New Project
button and following the instructions. You will be asked to define a Project base sequence, assays, objectives, constraints and upload your historical data.
One of the first things that Cradle will ask you to input is the Project base sequence—the protein sequence that you start the project with. This may be a wild-type sequence that is found in nature or a previously engineered sequence.

Once you have created your project, tell the platform what you are measuring and what you want to achieve by adding Assays.
