Creating projects
Note: To create projects in your company's workspace, you will need a Project Creator or Workspace Admin role. Read more about our User roles and privileges, and how to Manage access and roles.
To create a project, open your workspace dashboard, click on "Create project" and enter a project name. The project is now created, and you will see the project dashboard. From here, you can manage your project data, start new rounds, as well as keep track of computational tasks and reports across current and prior rounds.
Cradle API users can create project entries via the API - please refer to our API documentation.
Archiving and restoring projects
A project that is completed or paused for a while can be archived. Archiving keeps your workspace clean and, more importantly, frees up space for other active projects to start.
Archiving preserves all data — sequences, rounds, and assay values. A project can be unarchived and brought back to the exact state it was in before archiving, so nothing is lost.
To archive: click the project name and select Archive. To restore: open the archived-projects list and click Unarchive.
Deleting projects
To delete a project, along with all of its models and data, please contact your Customer Success team. Deleted projects and their data can no longer be restored.
